La Rosiere - The Resort
La Rosiere Resort Map
La Rosiere is situated in the Haute Tarentaise region on the road over the Col du Petit Saint Bernard. It links to La Thuile in Italy forming the Espace San Bernardo, a ski area with 150 km of pistes. It is known as a friendly, relaxed resort and is in a sunny south facing location. There are beautiful views of the Tarentaise region and the ski resort of Les Arcs on the opposite side of the valley. It has a good snow record due to its altitude of 1850m. La Rosiere has been built in keeping with mountain architectural traditions using stone, wood and slate.
The resort has two main areas, La Rosiere village and slightly further along the road is Les Eucherts. This is a newer development which has its own lifts, shops and free ski bus link to La Rosiere. There is a 1.2 km trail linking the two areas which is tarmaced and has lighting and picnic areas. There are a number of suburbs surrounding these two areas so your accommodation could be a fair distance from the lifts. Have a look at our La Rosiere Resort Map for accommodation positions. La Rosiere is a good resort for families and has the ‘Famille Plus Montagne’ label awarded for the facilities it offers for children.
