The ‘accommodation type’ selector allows you to restrict the accommodation that is displayed on the map and in the ‘by name’ selector list to just the sorts you are interested in. For example if you select ‘2 star hotels’ then you will only be able to find and display ‘2 star hotels’. If you do not make a selection then all types of accommodation are shown.

The ‘Show all accommodation’ button will display markers on the map showing the position of all accommodation of the type you have selected.

‘Select by name’ displays a list of the names of all accommodation of the type you have selected and allows you to select individual establishments.

Clicking on a marker on the map or on the side bar entry will display an information bubble. If there is a thumbnail picture clicking on it will display a larger view.

If your mouse has a wheel then you may use that to zoom in and out of the map, otherwize use the scale slider on the left of the map.
